Privacy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we deliberately do not do.
What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, phone, location), the listings you create, the vehicles you save, and the enquiries and viewing requests you send. We also record aggregate usage such as how many times a listing was viewed.
What we share with sellers
When you send an enquiry or request a viewing, the seller receives the name, phone number, email and message you submitted, so they can respond. Nothing else about your browsing is shared with them.
Analytics
We count views, searches, saves, enquiries and contact taps so sellers can see how a listing is performing. Public events are stored against a one-way hashed session key rather than your IP address or account, so these counts cannot be turned back into a per-person browsing profile. Raw events are deleted after 180 days.
Registration numbers and chassis numbers
A registration or VIN you supply on a listing is used for verification and is never shown on the public vehicle page. Only our staff can see it.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in. It is httpOnly, which means scripts running in the page cannot read it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your listings, update your details, and change your password from your dashboard at any time. To have your account and personal data removed entirely, email us and we will action it.
Retention
Sold and expired listings are kept as historical records rather than deleted, because sale history is what makes market data useful. They leave public search automatically seven days after a sale.
